How We Got Started.
In 1994, my wife came down with brain cancer and was given 9 months to live. At about the same time, three of our friends were stricken with the same disease. Only my wife survived for more than a year - 7 years to be exact, which is what this site is all about. After my wife was operated on and had chemotherapy and radiation treatments, she checked into a Hematology Clinic, which is where I ran into "The Hummer." He was an elderly man who said he had been free of cancer for ten years. As we sat there in the clinic, he kept humming old church hymns. I made a mental note of the hymns he hummed. I asked a doctor who had passed by as I was sitting with him if he knew the man, but strangely enough, he said that he had not observed me sitting next to anyone as he passed down the hall. I didn't think about the old man again until one morning when I was watching the "Today Show." The program devoted a section to humming. It seems that a man had reduced the size of a brain hemorrhage by 85% in just three weeks. He claimed that the humming might have caused the Immune System to produce antibodies that destroyed the hemorrhage. I thought about the old man again and how, just maybe, certain musical notes produce vibrations that can cure cancer and other diseases, and help prevent them from re-occurring for those patients in remission. I made up a tract that uses the hymns I remember him humming. My wife went through a very trying ordeal, but I feel that if even one person can achieve the positive results that she did from the humming, her suffering was not in vain. - Ralph Dymond
